The Bynars: Every Little Thing You Love. Music Video

Boston based boogie-ing band The Bynars have not only built up a reputation as a tight indie-pop trio, but are also known as a bunch of loveable nerds. I’ve had the honor sharing the bill with them many a night before they hit it big with their new self-titled album.

The super powered gang plays catchy tunes that are sure to strike a fun chord with just about any party pig or hopeless romantic. The Bynars owe their laser-like focus on making good pop to the vision and drive of their fearless leader, Matt Jatkola.

Matt has quite the songwriter pedigree. With his roots in the Central Mass music scene, Jatkola (along with bassist/synth-man Ben) was a major part of the band Lights, an act that had a huge impact on the kids I grew up with. From there he switched to documenting the music of others, conducting a series of music interviews. Then, he undertook the huge task of writing a song every day for an entire year. With such an impressive résumé, it didn’t come as a surprise that his next endeavor with the Bynars would be just as tight and focused.

The first music video they released was Party All Night. When the new album dropped they released an ambitious interactive music video for How Does it Feel to be In Love which completely blew me away. I couldn’t wait to see what was next, so when the band turned to Indie-GoGo (KickStarter) to fund their next video, I gladly threw in my little bit.

And now, after eagerly waiting for months, it’s finally here. The Bynars music video for their slow jam Every Little Thing You Love. And let me tell you, it does not disappoint.

This new visual gem is a love letter to classic sci-fi films, and will be sure to stir butterflies in any Star Trek fan’s heart. Simply put, I love this video, and I hope you do too.
