Seripop: Installations of sharp color.

The Colors- OH THE COLORS!
If this doesn’t make your eyes pop then I’m sorry for your dysfunctional Retinal Cones. I’m absolutely floored by these installations.

It’s difficult to say exactly what’s at the the core of the Seripop project. I’m sure if you spend enough time reading the essays by Yannick Desranleau and Chloe Lum you might have a good jumping off point. However, like with most contemporary art, I’d rather approach things blind and try to construct my own personal meaning first. That’s one of the great things about such abstract work. With so many rich textures and bold shapes I’m sure you’ll infer your own interpretations. Take a look for yourself and then click around the site for the details.
**Also both artists are in Aids Wolf and that’s a cool band. So, there’s that as well.**
