0Sexy Space Girls and Monster Men! The Art of Adam Padilla
Adam Padilla has been creating art since he was a small child. In that time, he’s experimented with many artistic mediums, from watercolor, sculpture, and airbrushed pieces, to his work as a tattoo artist for 19 years. His influences are just as varied; drawing inspiration from vintage horror, exploitation and sexploitation films of the 1960s-70’s, as well as classical mythology, vintage Sci/fi, and pulp fiction books. He’s also drawn inspiration from the visuals of the infamous band KISS, which is apparent in some of his works.
A sucker for a woman with pretty eyes and a vintage classy look, Adam paints the female form in a surreal and retro-futuristic way that is just irresistible. His work was just featured in the “Planet Sin” show at 423 West Gallery in Los Angeles. He is currently working mostly in acrylics, developing an ongoing series called “The Girls Who Love To Sin!”
You can find him on Instagram, Tumblr, and Facebook.
