MAD Episode 2: Bay vs. Snyder
Welcome to the second episode of Mutually-Assured Destruction, a show I’ve been desperately editing for a friggin’ week. This time, Greg challenges Matt and I to argue “The Battle of the Bottom: Michael Bay vs. Zack Snyder.” We’re trying to decide which of these men is the “world’s worst director.” For the record, I still think that title is unfair. Very unfair.
One of them gave us The Rock, Bad Boys 1 and Bad Boys 2. The other gave us an excellent zombie movie, a damn fine Greek epic, and had the enormous balls to even try making a Watchmen movie.
Respect is due, even if Transformers and Sucker Punch were atrocious.
All I’m saying is, there are way worse directors out there. But this is the Internet, so let’s get on with the petty whining.
(Note: the audio quality in this episode is decidedly not super-awesome. It’ll be better next time, but for now… courage.)
