RI Comic Con: Artist Spotlight

It seemed the main draw of RICC this year was the opportunity for fans to meet some of their favorite celebrities. While most were excited to meet Billy West, the voice of Fry from Futurama, or cast members from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I have never been into the whole meet-and-greet signature thing (although I did have a pretty awesome run-in with the Green Power Ranger).

The real magic for me happens in the dealers hall. After spending hours browsing through the wondrous displays of old action figures and niche sci-fi treasures, I reached the featured artists section. Flipping though all of the awesome indie comics and shiny portfolios is probably what I liked best.
